Gilligan's Luau, the first annual fundraiser gala for the Brown County Museum of History, celebrates the 60th anniversary of the premiere of the iconic television series, Gilligan's Island, which starred onetime Brownwood resident Bob Denver.
The fun-filled, casual evening benefits Children's Programming at the Museum.
Wear luau attire (or dress as your favorite Gilligan's Island character) and join us for cocktails, a tropical dinner buffet, outdoor games, photo stations, a 50/50 raffle,
a Gilligan lookalike contest, trivia, and more.
The Museum is a 501(c)(3) dependent on grants and private donations to fund operations, projects, exhibits, and educational programs. The Museum gratefully receives limited funding from Brownwood, Early, and Brown County, but these funds do not cover our operational expenses or the costs for our operation of the Old Jail, community programs, educational exhibits, school tours, and staffing.
