Fossils and Feathers is a come-and-go family program included with general admission that explores the fascinating connection between dinosaurs and modern birds through hands-on discovery.

Visit interactive stations featuring fossils, feathers, and other activities that highlight how birds evolved from their prehistoric ancestors.

Join George from Lake Brownwood State Park for lessons in outdoor birding, put your STEM skills to the test by designing and building a bird nest, and enjoy specialty craft stations inspired by the amazing world of birds. Participants are welcome to explore at their own pace and discover something new at every stop
